MOU Signed Between REDI Türkiye and Karşıyaka Municipality to Empower Roma Entrepreneurs!
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between REDI Türkiye and Karşıyaka Municipality to support the economic and social development of Roma entrepreneurs in Karşıyaka. This agreement will enhance REDI Türkiye’s activities while strengthening efforts with the backing of Karşıyaka Municipality.
The signing ceremony was attended by Karşıyaka Mayor Behice Yıldız Ünsal, who officially signed the MOU, alongside municipal council members and deputy mayors. Emin Karameşe signed the agreement on behalf of REDI Türkiye, with the REDI Türkiye team also present for this significant milestone.
Unlocking New Opportunities for Roma Entrepreneurs
This MOU is designed to advance the economic empowerment of Roma entrepreneurs, focusing on expanding access to employment, finance, education, and internships, particularly for youth and women.
The partnership is also directly linked to the “Development of Roma Entrepreneurs in the Western Balkans and Türkiye” project, led by REDI International and financially supported by the European Union. Through this initiative, Roma entrepreneurs will receive enhanced access to socio-economic opportunities, financial resources, and tailored support mechanisms to boost their economic growth.
