REDI, ONE OF EUROPE’S MOST IMPORTANT NGOS, IN TÜRKİYE!

REDI TÜRKİYE and Karşıyaka Municipality met for joint work on Roma entrepreneurship and employment.

Executives of REDI Türkiye, one of the most important non-governmental organizations in Europe (Roma Entrepreneurship Development Initiative-REDI), met with Karşıyaka Mayor Behice Yıldız Ünsal.

Emin Karameşe, CHP Izmir Deputy Provincial Chairman, Serkan Baysak, Chairman of REDI Türkiye, Necmettin Tetik, REDI Local Dissemination and Outreach Officer in Türkiye, Ahmet Buluş, President of Karşıyaka Roma Association and Çağlayan Kızılbuğa, ROMGEDER Association Manager visited Behice Yıldız Ünsal, Mayor of Karşıyaka.

During the meeting, which was very productive, many issues were discussed for the cooperation with Karşıyaka Municipality in the work started in Türkiye by REDI, which carries out activities in various countries of Europe on the struggle for the economic development of the Roma community.

REDI Türkiye’s executives will continue these meetings in other districts of Izmir within a specific program.
